I figure we could play with what kind of tree this Cala-something Maku Tree would be. The Holodrum Maku Tree appears to be quite bogstandard, possibly a corniferous tree, the Labrynna Maku Tree is a mangrove surrounded by smaller mangroves in a pond. Oracle of Ages really does a LOT with its characters. Replaying gave me some fresh ideas, but also scrapped a lot of fledgling ideas for me. The Oracle Games are now out on Switch NSO, giving us a chance to comfortably replay them and see what works and what doesn't. Wanted to revisit this idea thread for two reasons:ġ. Once the King found out, he decided that the Divine Beasts were dangerous and to prevent civil war, made the drastic pledge to seal all Sheikah technology forever.Īgahnim turned on the king and cast off his old self, becoming the first Master Kohga, founder of the Yiga Clan, set on resurrecting the sealed Calamity. The people of Hyrule knew the oath was broken. Something went wrong, of course, and the roar of the uncovered secret beast was heard all throughout the land as a hole was blasted through the side of Mt Hebra. The goal was to sap Ganon's power and strengthen them against the next Calamity with this ultimate Divine Beast to ensure victory. In secret, however, Agahnim worked on another Divine Beast to be piloted by the most loyal and deserving Sheikah, himself, tapping into the power well that the Calamity emitted as an even more potent power source. We learn that the Sheikah that created the Divine Beasts AND the Royal Family on behalf of the entire Hylian race swore an oath to never pilot the Beasts themselves and give it to the other races of Hyrule equally, as being able to produce AND pilot these machines would surely cause civil unrest for the other tribes. Bonus points that the Zonai are hare-like, minus points that the Ancient Hero does not have Zonai ears.įuck it, I'll join the fun on this one, I like the aftermath of the 10K calamity a lot more.Īgahnim was a Sheikah scientist, loyal to the Royal Family and a trusted advisor.
