What I think a friend is.is one who is my "Equal". Someone who wouldn't be compelled by anyone, but would determine and pursue his own reason to live.And should anyone trample that dream, he would oppose him body and soul, even if that threat were me myself. Someone who would never depend on another's dream. They are my valuable comrades, devoting themselves to the dream I envision. Together we have faced death so many times. Ultimately, to be born, and then to simply live for no better reason.I can't abide such a life. The song opens with the assertion that one should not be embarrassed about the shape they are in or the way lifes circumstances can change, for they are not to blame. A life spent as a martyr.to the God named "Dream". The lyrics of the Berserks song Tell Me Why are suggestive of a message of hope for those who might be struggling through their lives, feeling confused, or defeated. A man should envision such a lifetime once. And even after being abandoned by a dream, it continues to smolder from the bottom of one's heart, probably until the verge of death. Sustained by a dream, hurt by a dream, revived by a dream, killed by a dream. Berserk is one of the best examples of utilizing the art to its upmost as a storytelling device. Schierkes crush on Guts was weird for me for some time, but then I realized I was the same at her age, crushing over my cousins bf and what not, I think its an appropriate depiction of girls her age. “With no relation to social status, class, background, whether it suits them or not, people yearn for a dream. It was ok a few times, but for me it felt like it was done way too often to the point where it would take me out of the story completely.
